The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt
1.0
I know I'm in a really small minority here but I couldn't even finish this book I found it so awful.
The gorgeous cover art and clever title is what brought the book to my attention and a story about hard drinking, killing brothers in a rework of classic westerns was too interesting not to give it a try.
It was the writing style that first put me off, I found it childish and the extreme stylization was off-putting. The emphasis on the character and not the adventure made it obvious that the book wasn't for me and I gave up reading about a third of the way through the book.
