Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.0
4/5⭐️ This book threw me in every direction. Between the plot and trying to find the lilin, and going back between Zayne and Roth. Girl couldn’t make up her mind, not that I blame her I would want both too. And that ending. I was never obsessed with the first book, but this just gave me all the YA fantasy feels. It gave me nostalgia of early 2020 when all I read was Fantasy. I read the first book so long ago I definitely needed to refresh myself, but i’m glad I finally picked this up and I hope i’ll get to the last book soon because this ended on a cliffhanger and one thing about me is i’m extremely curious.
There was one trope in here that I always hate in books, because it can be solved SO EASILY. But it always happens for the drama. Zayne is cool and he was nice in this book but as soon as I found out that he knew his father would kill Layla if needed and he didn’t do anything about it, he lost my respect. Also fuck all his family. They really are doing too much and just need to chill. Literally had no problem killing a girl they raised.
