The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

Low intrigue, did not like the povs very much. I kind of enjoyed Orkas pov and Varg's was not too bad at all, but I just did not like Elvar's very much. Also, I just did not vibe with the setting and the fantasy elements, and the pacing in the first 160 pages felt a bit off, kinda slow but also a bit confusing as I just wasn't able to tell whether the timelines of the three characters overlap or not.
I'm just disappointed overall, as I went into it with some expectations due to the premise. Might try to continue another time, might not. Will see.
