A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

4.0

The first classic that I read so not sure if the rating would be very accurate or not. But it just felt like a 4 star, so I press it without hesitation.

I really like Charles Dicken’s writing style in this book specifically. Because I tried reading “A Tales of Two Cities” and that was too sophisticated for me. Although yes this still uphold the Dickensian style and the old Victorian language, for me it’s more understandable. Which make it much easier to read instead of not knowing what is going on the entire time. Although I must admit, at some part I did zone out - since I was listening to this as an audiobook.

But honestly it was good. I really enjoy it. I’m so excited to read more Charles Dicken’s book and to reread A Christmas Carol for Christmas time.

Also it was so fun to read about the original story.
