Highland Treasure by Lynsay Sands

Lynsay Sands is most definitely my favorite romance author, and her highland series my favorite series. The writing is fun, stories engaging, dialogue perfect. I loved Rory from the first book I read of this series (not the actual first book, I think I read Geordie’s first). He is intelligent and funny, and Elysande was a perfect match for him.
In spite of writing so many similar stories, each of Sands’ romances is different. Each relationship brings new trials and includes glimpses of the Buchanan family (though this one had less than I’d consider usual- basically just Alick).
While this story was dramatic, it was no more so than to be expected. And drama in highland romances is always fun. Everything was resolved by the end, with Sands tossing in a bit of humor in the epilogue. She closes out this one well.
Overall, 5 stars for sure. Can’t wait for Alick to find love next!
