"What I'm saying is... don't give up, Alice. Don't stay down that fucking rabbit hole when the clear path is right above you... Get out of the hole, Alice... Then go find her... Go get the girl."

Loved this more than I thought I would! The characters felt so loveable and comfortable and safe! Marc and Alice's relationship is the best found family trope (more so for Marc) and I loved Alice's family, they all felt so genuine! And I keep repeating "I love" but I do love Alice and Stella together, they were sassy with sparks flying from the start. I love how they explored their trauma's together and helped each other finally process what had been done to them so long ago. I won't lie, the repetition of "losing Clarissa five years ago" did irk me a bit every time they went to do something, HOWEVER it didn't ruined Stella's character. She was finally allowing herself to process her grief but didn't let it overrule her character, she was still Stella in love with Alice. I'm glad Butler got sentenced but I just wish more was done with that, they were more concerned with Alice dropping her job than actually figuring out how Butler did this or why or try to help more, y'know?

It wasn't negative lgbtq+ either,  yes bad things happened with attacks and vandalism but we saw everyone together fixing the Wildrose, or keeping an eye out on each other and still being happy. Alice uses her experiences to help lgbtq+ youth and she and Stella, after everything are married with a child on the way! The tragedies are all in the past and everyone in the present onwards is happy.
