I would rate this at 3.5 stars. Ashley Jade has a way of writing characters I like that I typically wouldn't care at all about. Bully romance, step brother romance, both are tropes I usually skip right over.
The book skipped chunks of time near the beginning and throughout would have moments from "the past." I found the timeline confusing a few times and the twist at the end was not at all surprising.
Its a quick read and I like the author's writing so I would recommend if you just want a quick read with drama, a murder mystery and smut.
