I'm no stranger to reading sports romance that's why I've been seeing a lot of book readers recommending this book. I was already hooked from the start and I absolutely adored our main female character, Olivia Parker, right from the beginning. I love how she stood her ground when Carter first approached her but more than that, I love the parts where I can relate to her. She is a perfect mix of sometimes-gets-shy-but-dont-mess-with-her type of person. When she's in the mood to be confident trust me girl CAN GET IT! Her friendship with Cara is the type of friendship I would also want for myself. Someone who you can count on but also someone who's not afraid to be real with you. One of my favorite parts of this book is the found family element that is just so heartwarming to read. Hank and Carter's relationship is also one of my favorite dynamics here in this story. I love how all the characters have their own place in the story that is so essential for this story to move forward. I loved the side characters just as much as I loved the main ones. I love how endearing the relationship Carter has with his bestfriends and teammates.

Speaking of endearing, our main male character, Carter Beckett, who has a larger than life personality, huge golden retriever energy, funny and annoyingly endearing arrogant personality, steals the show whenever he is in the scene. How Olivia and Carter made it work while being worlds apart in terms of personality is the epitome of how loving someone entails making the effort to always choose that person everyday no matter what and have both parties put in the work in order for the relationship to work. I love how they love each other and how Carter basically worships the ground Olivia walks on HAHAHA. Also, Hank FTW!! I love him so much!! I gave this one four stars because while I did enjoyed this, I think there were parts that were a bit dragging and parts that made my eyebrows raise HAHAHA. Overall, I liked this one and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!!
