I generally love these authors, as they are both incredibly talented and deliver exceptional stories. This one, however, fell flat to me. It is a MC tale worth a paranormal bend, yet it doesn’t flow like I except from these two, nor does it offer a strong FMC. Perhaps it’s simply because it’s the first book, but it lost me - even though I stick it out to the end (last 2 chapters are almost redeeming for interest) but.... I’m not sure. The club treats women as lesser, and the group that will obviously become the harem are no different.
