Wow this book was heavy! I usually love books that make me sad, and don’t get me wrong I did really enjoy this one, but it was tough to get through at some points. I didn’t know what to expect going into it and it turned out to be more like interconnected short stories rather than one novel.

Every story had to do with the plague that wrecked the Earth and how death become a daily part of life and a business. It was very sad and heavy with lots of themes of family and community mixed into each story.
