I finished it. I sat down and pushed this one out. Jesus. This book is not good. Slow and BORING. It’s not a bad thing to be slow…. But bro…. Write an interesting story. The MC is so annoying and emotionally dim… it’s bad. Sheesh.

The only great part about this book is the prologue. The epilogue was also alright as well as the last little chapter or whatever, but jeeeezzz the fall off after the first part is GARBAGE. There are some other reviews which cover it better than I could, look at those.

Sorry, I wanted to talk about the prologue. Doing my best to remember back to February when I started this book, the prologue is AMAZING. I thought it was so sweet and legitimately touching. To have a dream as a kid and be so truly encouraged… ahhh….  I’m pretty sure I teared up reading it. Maybe I’m be alone in that, but I really do think the prologue is beautiful. Should you ever see this book in a bookstore, I would recommend perhaps taking a few minutes and reading the prologue, and then quickly returning the book to the shelf. At that point, the book has peaked…. No… it has CLIFFED.
