This is another of my favourite reads of 2015. Superheroes who get their superpowers at menopause rather than birth or puberty = AWESOME. Older women being rad for the win.
Also, one of the characters has a journey that somewhat parallels that of being a trans woman — i.e. she still identifies as female even though her body becomes that of what appears to be a male human. I'm hoping that that allows older cisgender people to empathize more with transgender folks.
