Dark Needs at Night's Edge by Kresley Cole

sad slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? Yes
  • Loveable characters? Yes
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

2.5

I'll say 2.5 for this one. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't much of anything for me. I liked the dealings between all the 4 brothers, and I am quite fond of Conrad the MMC. He was quite lovable. The storyline was pretty meh for me, there was conflict but it seemed pretty surface level & simply resolved stuff. I liked the FMC, NĂ©omi, as well, although there were a few times where I felt that her communication skills left something to be desired. I don't have too much else to say about this except that it did make me look forward to the other characters' stories in this series yet to come, since so many of them showed up in this book.
