I think the reason that this book didn’t score higher for me was that it was a bit of a drag to get through the first half, quite slow moving with a lot of description that does not feel important. However the second half of the book was quite gripping and encouraged me to see the book through to the finish line. Some of the reveals were a bit cheesy, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying them.
I do feel that there could’ve been some more focus on the second foundation from their perspective throughout the book, because that may have helped as a reader to see how their deception worked as well as it did.

Ultimately it was a nice way to finish the trilogy and I did find the ending satisfying. I think to those considering reading this you need to ask yourself if you are willing to sit through half a book of seemingly unnecessary plot building in order for it to finally pay off. If you are ok with that then this would be great for you, and if you aren’t then perhaps give this a miss.
