I was real close to loving this book until about 65% in we find out that the steam is fade to black. Not only that, the FMC is a virgin and the MMC has only had one partner. For a romance about witches… why so pious?
It also didn’t help that the MMC isn’t exactly likable…? And honestly the FMC’s “shyness” is annoying. She isn’t able to get a single word out in front of anyone. It really stifles the dialogue and character interactions. She also doesn’t seem to have any good reason to like the MMC?
This book had a lot of potential but needed some finessing (and to open the door wideeee).
