Okay hear me out, this book was giving almost a Cinderella romance in a way, but with an emotionally wounded version of a “prince” and some really fucked up shit happening to Cinderella’s mom. Evil step mom, evil step sister. Hateful half brother. Pathetic and disgusting excuse for a father. And add a little bit of spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I. Ate. This. Shit. Up.

I fell in love with the characters and grew attached to them. I absolutely loved the way it was written from both Alexander and Elena’s perspective, I feel it brought me closer to both characters. The most perfect epilogue to follow, everything I was hoping I would read at the end was there.

Chef’s kiss, I’d change absolutely nothing. I’d probably actually make this my one and only 6 star read this year so far.
