Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.

The pretentious tone of Edward’s inner monologue is almost unbearable. Stephenie Meyer spends too much time describing things that don’t matter, and not enough time describing things that DO matter. Like, Alice’s visions. I wanted to hear more about those things rather than Edward calling himself a monster 50x per page.
