The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
In her memoir, Spears narrates the challenges she has faced from childhood to adulthood, from her family history to her conservatorship. This was certainly eyeopening. While it was clear in the media that there had been abuse of the conservatorship by her dad, the abuse she experienced as a child and onward, seemingly constant trauma in her life, makes one wonder how she managed to survive. While you may have opinions as to Spear's current state of wellbeing, it's clear she needs time to heal from what is described in this memoir, and shows the strength of her character to survive what she has been through.
