The Glass Lake by Maeve Binchy

4.0

I had a difficult beginning this book. Each time that I got into bed at night I would open it, read a paragraph and wake up a few minutes later to turn off my light. I couldn't remember who was who. Once I finally had a block of time to read I was engaged by the story. It is laid out differently than many of Binchy's other books. Similar in that there are many fully developed characters all with their own story lines. Binchy artfully wove the stories together.

My friends in the book kept me company on many a gas line this week....Made the wait worthwhile.
