My Thoughts:
This book took me by surprise, as the first scene acts out sexual assault with the MC.  I gave the book 4 stars because the author really knows how to write a fast paced book and characters with a wide range of depth, but I personally struggle with SA even if it becomes consensual over time.  This book may not be for every reader, but I would recommend it to those who would not be triggered by this type of trauma. I am interested to see where the series leads the reader to next.
