I mean, sweet wholesome ending but the actual contents of this were so ridiculous.
The whole
"I'm dead but wait... I'm actually alive"
thing is not my cup of tea. There are instances where it can be done well, and I don't think a novella gives that plotline enough time to develop.
Also, can we talk about Benedict? What was even his purpose in this book? He was so random. He played no role in the plot. He was just a plant to keep things interesting.... which he failed at.
This was a very anticlimactic story.
