Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson

4.0

It doesn't need said that I am huge fan of Sanderson and once again this books proves he is a master at creating unique magic systems. The magic system in Warbreaker seems so bizarre at first but Sanderson makes it work.

As a standalone it is a very fun story and I was obsessed it with within a few pages. I had to force myself to put the book down. I've always said I love how Sanderson adds multiple POV in his stories. It just adds so much to it. The characters I loved were Siri, Lightsong, Vasher and Susebron. I have mixed feelings about Vivenna because I started liking her towards the end but she is insufferable in the 1st half. For those that have read Stormlight Archive you will find some characters or events from this book referred to in SA.

I found the last chapter really rushed and was confused when I reached the epilogue. It didn't feel like much of an epilogue and wish I knew what happened to Susebron and Siri.

Overall Sanderson did it again and he is a master of prose and magic systems.
