Alice in Deadland by Mainak Dhar

1.0

I don't like to start a book and then put it down, so I finished reading this.
At first I thought it was full of typos, and then I realized that the author just didn't know how to punctuate correctly. After that, my opinion was that he just didn't know how to write very well.
Several times during my journey through this piece, I had the sensation that I was in a creative writing class and had the unfortunate assignment of reading fellow-classmate Mainak's work. There was almost nothing good about it.
At the very least... the VERY least... Dhar needs to do a search through the text for all occurrences of "its" and "it's" and make sure they are correct. The thing is, I'm not sure he would know if they are correct or not.
This was like reading a video game.
