So you know when people say "Don't judge a book by its cover"... seriously, don't do it.
I AM A VICTIM. I saw the pretty cover and was like y'know what, a bully romance sounds semi interesting today. Well.... no

I could go into all the fucked up things that was this book but I won't because I didn't read the trigger warnings so that's an oversight on my part.

HOWEVER, that doesn't change the fact that this book was hot ass. I wont lie and say that the plot wasn't interesting, because it was. There was potential there. It could have been even more if it wasn't written like a taboo wattpad romance in 2016 by a 14 year old girl who just now learnt about the sex.

The dialogue was a cringe fest, and the brothers........ have to laugh. It literally gave those middle school comebacks like "You call me a bitch? Well a bitch is a female dog, dogs bark, bark is on trees, trees are part of nature and nature is beautiful!" 🤓

Like pleaseeee be serious. It's 2024. Put your pen down. I beg.

The main character was likeable I will admit, her dialogue had a lot less cringe to it and I actually enjoyed her personality. But the forced edgyness and "fucked up" childhood which affected her mental health was poorly written like everything else, and felt one dimensional.

Oh my god. I lied. I will get into one of the fucked up things in this book.
So how is it that you were kidnapped and tortured naked as a child (it fucked you up mentally and now you have trouble sleeping) good, that's understandable. But WHY is it your first choice to continuously sexually assult someone because they stand up to you and dont take you seriously. My brother in christ.

Overall- ★★ I need therapy
