Jeneration X: One Reluctant Adult's Attempt to Unarrest Her Arrested Development; Or, Why It's Never Too Late for Her Dumb Ass to Learn Why Froot Loops Are Not for Dinner by Jen Lancaster

4.0

Let's start here: I love Jen Lancaster. I think she is witty. I think she is a good writer. I think she makes it look easy. Her memoirs are just what my soul needs (yes really, my soul needs) when it's time to pause and remember this is life, let's not take this too seriously. Each chapter ends with a "Reluctant Adult Lesson Learned" which, to be honest, I didn't always get, but which didn't dampen my enjoyment of the story which proceeded it. Plus, somewhere in the book, she says that your 30s suck and the 40s are where it's at. I can't find it, but I swear there is something like that in there somewhere. And if nothing else, I then breathed a huge sigh of relief. Thank you Jen Lancaster.
