this story was heart wrenching but so beautifully written - i am completely enamoured by hosseini’s writing. hosseini’s style of writing captures everything everywhere, and i love it. the characters are complex and (most of them) are loveable, and there were so many twists and turns you never knew what to expect next. hosseini is a genius with his hidden links - whether it’s repeating phrases we met at the start of the novel or weaving symbols in, i was completely blown away. as much as it’s heartbreaking and hard to read, i’m glad i did. this book is so powerful.
