“You wanted to play with the big boys, baby, so let’s play.”

If you haven’t read the first three books in this series and plan too, there will be spoilers about those books in this review. There will not be spoilers about this book in this review.

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first three that’s for sure.
We saw so much more from the characters (especially Tillie and Nate). I really enjoyed the motherhood and fatherhood aspects of this book but we still got the hot and cold relationship that I expected from Amo Jones.

This book pulled at all my emotions, I think I cried multiple times but it was just so addictive that even through my tears I kept reading.
I really love Tillie, she has been an interesting character and she can hold her own that’s for sure. Nate has definitely had moments where I was like…wanting to hate him but can’t.
I also liked how there was moments about grief, I do however feel that said grief was dealt with fairly quickly but altogether I really am loving this.

I can’t wait to start the next book in this series and I hope I get some answers especially after that cliffhanger!!

Please check TWs and CWs as this has very dark subjects, 18+

Happy reading 🤍
