If you are in the mood for something full of action and excitement, this is not the book for you. It is a quiet, gentle story about a grandmother and granddaughter switching lives for a period of time to heal from the loss of a family member and find themselves again. Nothing really happens, but it's a cozy commentary on the power of community and how those around us can give meaning to our lives if we let them in. There is also some romance, but it takes a backseat in this book, and honestly both relationships feel a bit underdeveloped. However, if you are looking for something calm and cozy and a bit boring, this falls into that category.
