This is such a beautiful book. I loved the writing style and it felt really genuine, believable and honest. The characters were complex and realistic and absolutely beautiful in all their imeprfections. I imagine people who have felt deep grief (which I haven't really), especially due to the loss of a loved one, would really relate to some of the emotions described throughout the book. It was thoughtful and kind in its approuch to marriage, complex family structures and aging. I see myself reading this book again someday, it was so touching, despite it dealing with some very rough topics. Just incredibly well done. I definitely plan to check other books by this author.
