I really love this book. There were many beautiful lines written by Dazai along with lots of moments of personal reflection. 
Everyone told me this book would be unable to finish due to how triggering it was but I disagree. It is very triggering but not to an extent that is unbearable or unreasonable. It makes sense with the story. 
Yozo is an unlikable character honestly, but that's what I enjoyed. It's hard to find books I enjoy with flawed characters and this fit it perfectly.
