The Moorstone Sickness by Bernard Taylor

4.0

So glad I finally got to pick this one up, I've been hoarding it for October since I first heard about it from @heylittlethrifter . After her glowing review, I just had to read it, and, of course, I had to have this lovely edition.
This book was much shorter than I anticipated, but it certainly doesn't leave you dissatisfied because of the brevity. This book has old school horror in every aspect of its writing and I was here for the atmospheric, dark, foreboding, creepy cult vibe. This book genuinely creeped me out by the end, I felt so terrible for the characters and what was happening to them. I loved the end and how the story was more psychological horror.
