Hunter is such a loveable character and I really enjoyed reading this book, especially since his perspective is one of a 12 year old boys. At some points in the novel, Hunter comes off as very mature and he is also very self aware and mindful, so I would sometimes forget that he was so young. The scenes with Hunter and his best friends were always so good, too. The love and friendship they had between the three of them was so endearing and I really enjoyed it. Additionally, I felt like all of the characters were very real and dynamic, and gave lots of context as to why they acted the way they did. Kakwinokanasum, you did an excellent job with this book. I will be looking out for your other novels in the future.
