Its been a month i have started this book. Its been a month i am being tormented by it.
Beloved refuses to be a page turner. It refuses to build a flow. When a book does that, asks you to stop and pay attention to what it has to say, i grow a bit more critical whether what its saying is worth it or not.

Its written in a non-conventional way that i personally hate but i am still bound by it. Can't leave it in the middle because i am absolutely on a choke hold by it.

Morrison has to be completely mad for writing Beloved.
The prose is gold but what's written is pitch black tar.
I am having absolute worst time reading it. It has given me nightmares and sometimes i have to take a 2 3 days break to brave up the energy to open it. Can't leave it too.. choke hold.. remember?

I absolutely hate this book. 4/5
