I already pre-wrote this little review when I had only read 3/4 of the book so far because in the middle of reading it I was so full of feelings and emotions, which I had to let out somewhere. I’m glad I did it because I put the book down for about 2 weeks (didn’t want to read it “on the go” since it felt a too personal topic for me and I wanted to give it my full capacity), and when I finally got to finish the last chapters, I was not diving in as deep on the emotional roller coaster as I would have been if I had read it all in one go (something I will do one day again I’m pretty sure). So here’s my review after 75% and that I still stand with:

If i could give more than five stars I would definitely do. I’ve been on the path of coming to terms with my own sexuality the past 6 (?) years, and so much is still so confusing to me, but this book was an eye opener in so many ways and I could relate with a lot of aspects Georgia mentions as well as the way she feels in a society where having sex + sexual desire is presented as the norm. Representation does matter and I’m really happy if I think about all the Aro, Ace and AroAce folks that through this book might gain access to (in my opinion) lovable, multidimensional and relatable characters; and that that are not portrayed in the stereotypical, problematic way you encounter very often, the few rare times Asexuality/ Aromanticism are mentioned in media at all.
