Three college school friends - Billy, Troy and Melody - go on a road trip to document roadside memorials in Appalachia for their American Studies class project. What starts out as a fun trip soon turns eerie and menacing when they begin getting weird and creepy vibes from all the folks they encounter and things just start to go wrong. Bad omens everywhere. To make matters worse, they start noticing a strange symbol at all of the memorial sites. Is it a coincidence? Or are they being targeted on purpose? As you get deeper into the story it becomes more unsettling and you become suspicious of everyone. I did not expect the story to go where it did. Complete page turner. Very well-written. Suspenseful and scary! Love everything this author writes!
