The Vow by D. Rose
3.0
This was a cute read. I found it a little slow to start but once they got married I thought a lot of it was deeply romantic. There’s an almost instalove vibe to them as a couple - I liked that both of them approached their situation with a practicality that then turned into a realisation that they were both like minded people, attracted to one another, and a decision to try the relationship for real. I thought how the relationship played out was quite sweet and I liked how they both took care of each other.
It’s a fairly low-conflict book - there’s some external drama to keep it interesting but on the whole the romance is very easy and enjoyable. Overall a cute, very romantic read.
Content Notes: Marriage of convenience.
