Unequal Affections: A Pride and Prejudice Retelling by Lara S. Ormiston

5.0

I really liked that they talked things through in the first half, that's what I alwats wanted to read about: what if Elisabeth thought things through and was a bit more practical minded.

Though it's a bit undermined by the second half where Elisabeth somehow takes forever to realise she's in love too? I get that it makes sense, Darcy never has the change of character that he has in the book because here she accepte him at his first proposal, but some bits where so painful, Darcy is so in love with her and she hurts him a lot through all this.

Overall probably my fav retelling so far.
