I feel like this has been said a million times before, but Sakamoto days is way better than I expected it to be. It doesn’t start off strong. I almost put it down and moved on, but the series gradually improves the further you get into it. It’s clear the author enjoys this silly story he’s telling, and that passion shines through. Stellar action sequences, some laugh-out-loud comedy, and surprisingly compelling character arcs. It’s not the most groundbreaking or unique mangas, but what it does it does well. I’m very excited to see where the author is going with this story!
