Hard Pass by Sara Ney
4.0
Ney never disappoints! I’ve been struggling with reading slump since last month, but after reading this, I’m cured!
Finished it in one sitting, and I enjoyed it! It’s always the same for Ney’s books to keep it light, the conflicts aren’t too dramatic and long. Though I like that, it also makes it hard for me to see it as realistic — nothing in life is ever that easy.
I enjoyed Miranda’s character, she’s fun and direct — confident and knows how to assert herself. Unlike most sports romances, this didn’t deal with a cocky/bad-boy image but good guy kind of character for Noah. I love that he’s shy and reserved, he’s the highlight of this book for me.
Excited to read the next, Hard Fall!
