 In this second instalment of the series, further conspiracies are revealed where the powerful and the moneyed of Earth continue to undermine everyone everywhere throughout the galaxy. Noemi is back with her usual highly capable self and Abel still continues to explore his humanity. This was a fun book to read with a good pacing alternating between action, discoveries, and a bit of romance. The ending, however, was a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'm keen to get onto book 3.
