I have read some heartbreaking books lately, but Jeanette's story really takes the cake for me. It was a very tough read, but I was grateful that Jeanette passed on some of her wisdom about coping with the aftereffects of being parented by a narcissist.
It should be mentioned that there are a considerable number of content warnings for this book including eating disorders and everything that goes with them, child abuse, domestic abuse, chronic illness and death.
