 I absolutely LOVED this. Has strong vibes of the movie Midsommar but with a happy ending. This was a fantastic folk horror book and I easily read it in one sitting. I wish that there was a little bit more info on 'the shining people"/"gods." There was just the right amount of descriptive gore without it being offputting. 10/10
