I enjoyed the premise of this book, but it got a little big draggy and over-explainy during some parts (the MC talking through all of her thoughts got a little repetitive). Also I had zero idea until over halfway through the book that it takes place in 2013. I’m not sure if I missed something or that it just wasn’t mentioned at all until then. It’s important to the plot but there’s no indication of the year until that particular plot point becomes relevant. Just a little odd…
