The Brief History of the Dead, by Kevin Brockmeier

4.0

I really loved the writing and the beginning and middle of this book, but I was dissatisfied with the ending because I felt like there was no resolution. The implausibilities didn't bother me at all because the stories and descriptions of various characters were so wonderful and thought-provoking. I expected an equally thought-provoking ending, and when I finished I couldn't decide if the book was two or three chapters too long or if it simply stopped in the middle. I still recommend it though and I want to read more of this author.
