Dirty Letters by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland

Such a good and emotional and heart breaking, yet heart warming story. It's also a very sweet romance. While there are some humorous moments, this isn't a Rom Com. This is probably one of the most emotional books this writing duo has written... at least in recent years. The emotions you feel aren't just due to the romance and what goes on between the Hero and Heroine, but because of their personal struggles as well. Her's more so then his. He's a rock star who has no privacy and just wants to be left alone, and she's a anxiety ridden recluse that just wants to be free from her solitude. Their story started in the second grade but their lives really begin 20 years later. You will fall in love with these characters. If you're in need of a new book boyfriend, look no further. Griffin is perfection. Luca has some mental health issues that she is struggling to overcome, but even with those 'faults' she is a wonderful and strong woman. She tends to be the 'bad guy' in this story, but even when she was making the wrong choices, you knew her heart was kind and she was trying to be selfless in her actions, no matter how bad they hurt either of them. There isn't a lot of sexual content, mostly it's talked about between the characters, with minimal action played out. This is a beautiful and well written story that was hard to put down. You'll want to read it (at least the last 5-10 chapters or so) in private as there will be tears shed. It alternates between POVs.
