Black Klansman: A Memoir by Ron Stallworth

2.0

really debating between 2 and 3 stars so 2.5

it was a fascinating story/investigation but it was written to be repetitive and often times nothing happened. i found myself zoning out really quickly and just picking up at some random paragraph bc i wasn’t bothered to re-read what i might’ve missed

i really wanted to enjoy this book since clips i’ve seen from the movie seemed good, but the book was just boring and i read so much of it just now in one sitting just so i could get it over with

i wasn’t really feeling it from the start and i hoped it would get better but unfortunately it didn’t :( it was entertaining however seeing how idiotic and oblivious the kkk was, but for the most part it was, like i said, boring and repetitive and there wasn’t much of a story. but i guess since it is a real story, i can’t expect too much drama and entertainment.

ok i wrote this review with a 3 star rating but i have very few good things to say so i i’m dropping it to a 2 as a low 2.5 - sorry ron :( for a book that was half the length of the last
book i read, it took the same amount of days to finish which isn’t a good thing
