Demon, Volume 1 by Jason Shiga
3.0
Neat introduction to the series. I like the premise, and I like Jimmy’s journey so far. The story’s fast-paced, but it doesn’t feel rushed. It’s done well enough for everything to work.
The humor didn’t work for me most of the time. Every time Jimmy said a funny, it took me out of the story. But that only happened occasionally enough to where I can ignore it, so it’s fine.
All in all, I liked it. I was invested in the story, and I am curious to see how it continues. I’ll probably read the rest of the story at some point.
