The Murder of Professor Schlick: The Rise and Fall of the Vienna Circle by David Edmonds

adventurous challenging dark informative sad medium-paced
My first instinct is to book this book into conversation with When We Cease to Understand the World. One day I will. This is one of my favorite moments in history: interwar Vienna was a cauldron of progress and hatred, of science and anti-intellectualism, of art and imperialism. It was so interesting to see the Vienna Circle sketched out in such detail.
