I really wanted to like this book. I’ve thought about this blurb ever since I added this book to my TBR 2 years ago. I hesitated because of the mixed reviews and now I know why..
Things I liked:
The f*ck-it list
Grandmother Iris
Things I didn’t like:
Charlotte - nosy, intrusive and overbearing.
The air-typing.. oh. My. God. The air-typing was cringe. I don’t know why people thought it was endearing.
Reed was uptight and pushed Charlotte away for 95% of the book. Made Charlotte seem like a stage five clinger.
Don’t go into this book thinking it’s a rom-com. It has heavy emotional themes and doesn’t necessarily have your typical HEA.
