Death Note: Black Edition, Vol. 4 by Tsugumi Ohba

dark medium-paced

3.0

I enjoyed this one more than vol III, but I didn't fully love it. Even though a lot happened in this volume, it felt very sloggy to me and repetitive at times (mainly in the beginning). The additional characters we are introduced to didn't add anything to the story and seemed pointless as they were very similar to other characters. As with the other books, it did end in a way that left me intrigued enough to pick up the next one.
